How To Add OpenAPI Key To YACSS

The OpenAI API key is used in YACSS for creating AI Websites and automatic content generation. This guide walks you through generating your key from the OpenAI platform and connecting it to YACSS.

Go to OpenAI API Keys

Go to the OpenAI platform and sign in. Navigate to API Keys in the sidebar and click + Create new secret key.

Create the Secret Key

In the Create new secret key dialog, give your key a name, select your project and leave Permissions set to All. Then click Create secret key.

Copy Your Key

OpenAI will display your new secret key. Copy it immediately — it will only be shown once and cannot be retrieved later. Click Done when you have saved it securely.

Open the API Tab in YACSS

In YACSS, navigate to API from the sidebar. Find the OpenAI card and click the Manage button.

Paste Your Key & Add Credits

Paste your key into the API Key field in the OpenAI API Connection modal and click Save.

You also need to add credits in the OpenAI billing section of the OpenAI platform — without credits your requests will fail.

Important: You must add credits to your OpenAI account in the billing section, otherwise API requests will not work.

Done! Your OpenAI API key is now connected to YACSS.
