How To Connect AWS To YACSS

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's leading cloud platform, trusted by businesses of all sizes for storage, hosting and deployment. Yacss allows you to connect your AWS account to manage cloud storage and deploy your content alongside your other workflows.

Open Cloud Connectivity

In Yacss, navigate to Cloud Connectivity from the sidebar. Click Connect on the Amazon (AWS) card to begin the setup process.

Prepare Your Inputs

You will need three things: a Name (any label you choose), an Access Key, and a Secret Key. We will retrieve the keys from the AWS dashboard in the next steps.

  • Name — Any name you want to identify this connection
  • Key — Access Key ID from AWS Security Credentials
  • Secret Key — Secret Access Key from AWS Security Credentials

Open AWS Console

Go to the AWS Management Console. Click on your Profile Name in the top right corner, then select Security Credentials.

Create Access Key

Navigate to the Access Keys section. Click Create access key.

Copy Your Credentials

After creating the access key, you will see both the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. Copy both values — the Secret Key is only shown once.

Paste Into Yacss & Save

Return to Yacss. Paste the Access Key into the Key field and the Secret Access Key into the Secret Key field. Click Save — your AWS connection is now active.

Done! Your AWS account is now connected to Yacss.
