How To Connect Backblaze To YACSS

Backblaze is a powerful and affordable cloud storage platform trusted by businesses worldwide. YACSS allows you to connect your Backblaze account to manage cloud storage and deploy your content seamlessly alongside your other workflows.

Open Cloud Connectivity

In YACSS, navigate to Cloud Connectivity from the sidebar. Click Connect on the Backblaze card to begin the setup process.

Prepare Your Inputs

You will need three things: a Name (any label you choose), a Key ID, and an Application Key. We will retrieve both keys from the Backblaze dashboard in the next steps.

  • Name — Any name you want to identify this connection
  • Key ID — Retrieved from Backblaze Application Keys
  • Application Key — Retrieved from Backblaze Application Keys

Open Backblaze Dashboard

Go to the Backblaze Cloud Dashboard and sign in to your account.

Create an Application Key

In the sidebar, click Application Keys, then click Add a New Application Key.

Fill In Key Details

Fill in the key details. Set Allow access to Bucket(s) to All, set Type of Access to Read and Write, then click Create New Key.

Copy Your Keys

Once the key is created, copy both the keyID and applicationKey. The Application Key is only shown once — make sure to save it immediately.

Step 6: Copy KeyID and Application Key

Paste Into YACSS & Save

Return to YACSS. Paste the Key ID into the keyID field and the Application Key into the Application Key field. Click Save — your Backblaze connection is now active.

Step 7: Paste credentials into YACSS
Done! Your Backblaze account is now connected to YACSS.
