How To Connect Bluesky To YACSS

Bluesky is a decentralised social platform built on the AT Protocol. By connecting your Bluesky account to YACSS, you can publish and schedule content to Bluesky alongside all your other platforms.

1

Open Cloud Connectivity

In YACSS, navigate to Cloud Connectivity from the sidebar. Click Connect on the Bluesky card to begin the setup process.

Prepare Your Inputs

You will need the following two values — we will retrieve them from Bluesky in the steps below.

  • Bluesky Username — Your Bluesky handle (e.g. yourname.bsky.social)
  • Application ID — An App Password generated from your Bluesky settings
3

Open Bluesky Settings

Log in to your Bluesky account at bsky.app. Click Settings in the left sidebar, then select Privacy and Security.

Generate an App Password

Scroll down to App Passwords and click on it. On the next screen, click + Add App Password. Give it a name and confirm — Bluesky will display the password once. Copy it immediately.
