How To Connect DreamHost To YACSS
DreamHost is a reliable cloud hosting and object storage platform used by developers and businesses worldwide. YACSS allows you to connect your DreamHost account to manage cloud storage and deploy your content seamlessly alongside your other workflows.
Open Cloud Connectivity
In YACSS, navigate to Cloud Connectivity from the sidebar. Click Connect on the Dreamhost card to begin the setup process.
Prepare Your Inputs
You will need three things: a Name (any label you choose), a Key, and a Secret Key. We will retrieve both keys from the DreamHost dashboard in the next steps.
- Name — Any name you want to identify this connection
- Key — Retrieved from DreamHost DreamObjects
- Secret Key — Retrieved from DreamHost DreamObjects
Open DreamHost Dashboard
Go to the DreamHost Cloud Dashboard and sign in to your account.

In the sidebar, click Cloud Services then click DreamObjects. Click Create New User to add a new user.
Create a New User & Copy Keys
Enter a username and click Add User.
Once created, copy the Key on the left side and the Secret Key on the right side — the Secret Key is only shown once, so save it immediately.
Paste Into YACSS & Save
Return to YACSS. Select your Endpoint (for new DreamHost accounts, use the 2nd option). Paste the Key into the Key field and the Secret Key into the Secret Key field. Click Save — your DreamHost connection is now active.
