How To Connect Facebook To YACSS
Facebook (Meta) lets you connect your Pages and business portfolios directly to YACSS. By creating a Facebook Developer App, you can manage and publish content to your Pages alongside your other workflows.
Open Cloud Connectivity
In YACSS, navigate to Cloud Connectivity from the sidebar. Click Connect on the Facebook card to begin the setup process.
Prepare Your Inputs
You will need two credentials from the Facebook Developer Portal:
- App ID — Found in your Facebook Developer app settings
- App Secret — Found in your Facebook Developer app settings
We will retrieve both of these from the Facebook Developer Portal in the steps below. YACSS will use these to connect to your Facebook account.
Open Facebook Developer Portal
Go to the Facebook Developer Portal and create your developer account if you haven't already. Navigate to My Apps and click Create App.

Add App Name
Enter your App name and a contact email, then click Next.
Select Use Case
In the Use Cases step, click All in the left filter panel to view all options.
Scroll down and select Manage everything on your Page, then click Next.
Connect Business Portfolio
Facebook will ask which Business Portfolio to connect. If you already have one, select it and click Next. Otherwise, Facebook will show no businesses available — click Business Settings to create one.
Create a Business Portfolio
If you don't have a business portfolio, you will be redirected to Facebook. Click on your profile in the top right and choose Create a business portfolio. Once created, return to the app creation screen, select your new portfolio, and continue.
Select Portfolio & Finish App Creation
Back on the app creation screen, select your business portfolio and click Next. Continue clicking Next through the remaining steps until your app is fully created.
Add OAuth Redirect URL
Once your app is created, go to Facebook Login for Business in the left sidebar, then click Settings. Under Valid OAuth Redirect URIs, paste the URL below and click Save.

Go to Use Cases
Navigate to Use Cases in the sidebar. Click Customize next to "Manage everything on your Page".
Add Required Permissions
Add the following three permissions by clicking + Add next to each one:
- email — Allows reading the user's primary email address
- pages_manage_posts — Allows creating, editing and deleting Page posts
- pages_read_engagement — Allows reading content and engagement on Pages
Copy App ID & App Secret
Go to App Settings → Basic in the sidebar. Copy both your App ID and App Secret — click Show to reveal the secret.
Paste Into Yacss & Save
Return to YACSS. Paste your App ID and App Secret into the Facebook Account fields and click Save. You will be automatically redirected to Facebook for authorization.
Select All Pages
Facebook will prompt you to choose which Pages to grant access to. Select Opt in to all current and future Pages and click Continue.
Select All Business Portfolios
On the next screen, select Opt in to all current and future Businesses and click Continue.
Review & Save
Review the permissions summary — it will show access to your email, businesses, Pages and content management. Click Save and your Facebook connection will be active.
