How To Connect Google Cloud To YACSS
Google Cloud is one of the world's most powerful cloud platforms, offering scalable storage and infrastructure for businesses of all sizes. YACSS allows you to connect your Google Cloud account to manage cloud storage and deploy your content seamlessly alongside your other workflows.
Open Cloud Connectivity
In YACSS, navigate to Cloud Connectivity from the sidebar. Click Connect on the Google Cloud card to begin the setup process.

Prepare Your Inputs
You will need two things: a Name (any label you choose) and a JSON file. We will generate and download the JSON file from the Google Cloud Console in the next steps.
- Name — Any name you want to identify this connection
- JSON File — A service account key file downloaded from Google Cloud Console
Open Google Cloud Dashboard
Go to the Google Cloud Console and sign in. Click the top left sidebar icon, then navigate to APIs & Services → Enabled APIs & Services.
console.cloud.google.com
Create a Service Account
Click Credentials in the left sidebar, then click + Create Credentials → Service Account.

Configure & Add Editor Access
Add Editor Access and click Done.

Open the Service Account
Back on the Credentials page, find the service account you just created under Service Accounts and click on it.

Create a New Key
Inside the service account, click the Keys tab. Click Add Key → Create New Key.

Select JSON as the key type and click Create. The JSON file will be automatically downloaded to your computer.

Upload JSON File Into YACSS & Save
Return to YACSS. Upload the downloaded JSON file in the Upload JSON File field and click Save — your Google Cloud connection is now active.

Enable Billing
When you create a bucket or upload files, you may receive an error that billing is not enabled. Go to the Billing section in the Google Cloud sidebar and click Link a billing account to activate it.
