How To Connect IDrive e2 To YACSS

IDrive e2 is an S3-compatible cloud storage service offering affordable storage with multiple regional endpoints. By connecting your IDrive e2 account to YACSS, you can store and manage files in your buckets directly from the platform.

Open Cloud Connectivity

In YACSS, navigate to Cloud Connectivity from the sidebar. Click Connect on the IDrive card to begin the setup process.

Prepare Your Inputs

You will need the following values — we will retrieve them from the IDrive e2 dashboard in the steps below.

  • Name — Any label you choose to identify this connection
  • Endpoint — The regional endpoint URL for your account
  • Access Key ID — Generated from the Access Keys section
  • Secret Access Key — Generated alongside the Access Key ID (only shown once)

Open IDrive e2 Dashboard

Go to the IDrive e2 Console and log in. In the left sidebar, click Access Keys, then click Create Access Key.

Configure the Access Key

Fill in a name for the key and select your email address. Under Assign access permission, select Read and write. Under Assign buckets, select All buckets. Then click Create Access Key.

Copy Your Credentials

After creating the key, IDrive e2 will display the Endpoint, Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. Copy all three values and paste them into the corresponding fields in YACSS.

The Secret Access Key is only shown once. Copy it before closing this screen — it cannot be retrieved later.

Paste Into YACSS & Save

Return to YACSS. Paste the Endpoint, Access Key ID and Secret Access Key into the corresponding fields. Click Save — your IDrive e2 connection is now active.

Done! Your IDrive e2 account is now connected to YACSS.
