How To Connect Linode To YACSS

Linode (now Akamai Cloud) is a reliable and developer-friendly cloud platform offering scalable object storage for businesses worldwide. YACSS allows you to connect your Linode account to manage cloud storage and deploy your content seamlessly alongside your other workflows.

Open Cloud Connectivity

In YACSS, navigate to Cloud Connectivity from the sidebar. Click Connect on the Linode card to begin the setup process.

Prepare Your Inputs

You will need three things: a Name (any label you choose), a Key, and a Secret Key. We will retrieve both keys from the Linode dashboard in the next steps.

  • Name — Any name you want to identify this connection
  • Key — Access Key from Linode Object Storage
  • Secret Key — Secret Key from Linode Object Storage

Open Linode Dashboard

Go to the Linode Cloud Dashboard and sign in to your account.

Navigate to Object Storage

In the sidebar, click Storage → Object Storage. Click the Access Keys tab, then click Create Access Key.

Create an Access Key

Give your key a label, select All Regions, leave Limited Access unchecked, and click Create.

Copy Your Keys

Once created, copy both the Access Key and the Secret Key. The Secret Key is only shown once — save it immediately before closing the dialog.

Paste Into YACSS & Save

Return to YACSS. Paste the Access Key into the Key field and the Secret Key into the Secret Key field. Click Save — your Linode connection is now active.

Done! Your Linode account is now connected to YACSS.
