How To Connect OVH To YACSS

OVH is a leading European cloud provider offering reliable and affordable object storage. By connecting your OVH account to YACSS, you can manage and serve files stored in your OVH buckets directly from the platform. Please note that we only support EU OVH — not the US version.

1

Open Cloud Connectivity

In YACSS, navigate to Cloud Connectivity from the sidebar. Click Connect on the OVH card to begin the setup process.

Step 1: Open Cloud Connectivity in Yacss
2

Prepare Your Inputs

You will need three things: a Name (any label you choose), a Key, and a Secret Key. We will retrieve the keys from the OVH dashboard in the next steps.

  • Name — Any name you want to identify this connection
  • Key — Access Key from OVH Object Storage
  • Secret Key — Secret Key from OVH Object Storage
OVH connects one bucket at a time. If you need 3 buckets, you must add the connection 3 times.
3

Open OVH Dashboard

Go to the OVH EU Manager. Click Public Cloud in the top navigation, then select Object Storage from the left sidebar. If you have not ordered Object Storage yet, you will need to do so first.

Create a New User

Inside Object Storage, click the Users tab, then click Create User. Give the user a description so you can identify it later.

Step 4: Create User in OVH Object Storage
5

Copy Your Credentials

After creating the user, OVH will display the Access Key and Secret Key. Copy both values and paste into YACSS — the Secret Key is only shown once and cannot be retrieved later.

Step 5: Copy Access Key and Secret Key from OVH
Step 5: Paste credentials into YACSS
6

Import the Access Policy

Back in the Users list, click the three dots (···) next to the user you just created and select Import a user access policy (JSON). Download the policy file using the link below and upload it.

Step 6: Import user access policy in OVH
Done! Your OVH account is now connected to YACSS.
