How To Connect Scaleway To YACSS
Scaleway is a European cloud provider offering S3-compatible object storage. By connecting your Scaleway account to YACSS, you can store and manage files in your buckets directly from the platform.
Open Cloud Connectivity
In YACSS, navigate to Cloud Connectivity from the sidebar. Click Connect on the Scaleway card to begin the setup process.
Prepare Your Inputs
You will need the following two values — we will retrieve them from the Scaleway dashboard in the steps below.
- Key — Access Key ID from Scaleway IAM
- Secret Key — Secret Key from Scaleway IAM (only shown once)
Open Scaleway IAM
Go to the Scaleway Console. Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select IAM & API keys.

Generate a New API Key
Click the API keys tab, then click + Generate API key. Configure the key with the following settings:
- API key bearer — Myself (IAM user)
- API key expiration — Never
- Object Storage — Yes, set up preferred project → select default
Click Generate API key to confirm.
Copy Your Credentials
After generating the key, Scaleway will display the Access Key ID and Secret Key. Copy both values — the Secret Key is only shown once and cannot be retrieved later.
Paste Into YACSS & Save
Return to YACSS. Paste the Access Key ID into the Key field and the Secret Key into the Secret Key field. Click Save — your Scaleway connection is now active.
