How To Upload A Cloud Site Using Zip To Cloud In YACSS

The Zip to Cloud feature in YACSS lets you upload any ZIP file containing HTML and asset files to multiple cloud storage providers in one go. Rather than manually uploading files to each platform separately, you configure your cloud destinations once and deploy your project to all of them with a single click.

1

Go To Zip To Cloud In The Sidebar

In the YACSS sidebar under Content Tools, click ZIP to Cloud to open the My Custom Uploads page. Here you can see a history of all past uploads including the URL, cloud type, client, upload name, and date. To start a new upload, click the Upload New Project button in the top right corner of the page.

2

Enter Project Name, Upload ZIP File And Select Client

On the upload page you will see a form with three things to fill in before selecting your cloud destinations.

Project Name — Enter a name for this upload. This is used to identify the project in your uploads history.

ZIP File — Drag and drop your ZIP file into the upload area, or click to browse your files. The maximum file size is 500MB. The tool will automatically extract the ZIP and upload all inner files and folders to the cloud.

Select Client — Choose the client this upload belongs to from the dropdown. This is used to filter uploads in the history table and to match the cloud accounts assigned to that client.

Select And Configure Your Cloud Providers

Below the client selector you will see a grid of all available cloud providers. Each provider has a toggle button. Toggle on any cloud you want to upload to. If you have not connected a cloud provider yet, it will show as "Not configured" — follow the separate cloud connection tutorial to connect your accounts and assign them to a client first.

When you toggle on a provider, a configuration popup will open. For every cloud you must select an Account and a Bucket — these are required fields. Directory and Subdirectory are optional and allow you to organise uploads into specific folder paths within the bucket. You can also choose the URL structure format for how the bucket URL is constructed. Once you have filled in the required fields, click Save Configuration to confirm the settings for that provider.

Step 3: Configure AWS Settings popup showing Account, Bucket, Directory, SubDirectory fields and Save Configuration button
4

Confirm Configuration And Add More Clouds

After saving the configuration for a provider, the toggle card updates to show a green Configured status along with the selected bucket path. The toggle remains on and a Configure button appears so you can edit the settings at any time. Repeat this process for each additional cloud provider you want to include in this upload — simply toggle it on, fill in the account and bucket, and save.

Click Upload To Selected Clouds

Once you have configured all the cloud providers you want to use, scroll to the bottom of the page. You will see a summary showing how many cloud providers are selected. Click the Upload to Selected Clouds button to start the upload. The tool will extract your ZIP file and push all the inner files and folders to every configured provider simultaneously. Once complete, the upload will appear in your My Custom Uploads history with the URL, cloud type, and timestamp.
