Mass Page Builder — About Us Tab

The About Us page is automatically included in every Mass Page Builder site. The nav and footer are inherited from the project settings — this tab only controls the main body content. Here is how the page looks by default before any customisation.

The tab has two content mode options — Auto and Manual — and two checkboxes on the right: Show company gmb map and Show company contact info. Both checkboxes are ticked by default.

Auto is the default selection. When Auto is selected, YACSS generates the About Us body content automatically. The page displays the Company Name as an H4 heading followed by the Company Description paragraph from the Company Info tab. This is the simplest option and requires no additional input — it draws directly from the data already entered in Company Info.

The content appears in the main content box on the about-us.html page as a heading and paragraph in the upper body section.

When Manual is selected, a rich text editor appears — the About Page Content field. This lets you write fully custom About Us content. You have the same full-featured editor as in the Privacy Policy tab, with formatting options for headings, bold, italic, bullet lists, numbered lists, tables, images, links, blockquotes, and HTML source editing.

Whatever you write or paste here completely replaces the Auto content and becomes the entire main text body of the About Us page. Use this when you want a polished, client-specific About Us narrative rather than the auto-generated company name and description block.

Both checkboxes are ticked by default and control what appears in the lower section of the About Us page.

Show Company GMB Map — When enabled, a Google Maps embed appears in the lower section of the About Us page using the map embed URL from the Embed tab (the My Maps URL field). It renders as a full-width iframe at 480 pixels height. If no map URL has been configured in the Embed tab the map area is simply not shown, even if this checkbox is ticked.

When Show Company Contact Info is enabled, the contact block appears in the lower section of the about-us.html page showing email, phone, address, and city/state/zip — all pulled automatically from the Company Info tab.

Appears In — The lower section of the about-us.html page, in a side-by-side layout with the map. Shows: Email, Phone, Address, and the City/State/Zip line. The labels for each contact field use your Translations settings from the Build Settings tab if you have set non-English labels.

For the map to appear on the About Us page, you must first add your My Maps embed URL in the Embed tab. Go to the Embed tab and paste your Google My Maps embed URL into the My Maps embed url field in the format shown. Once this URL is saved, the map will render on the About Us page.

With both checkboxes enabled and the map URL configured in the Embed tab, the lower section of the About Us page shows the contact details block on the left and the Google Maps embed on the right in a side-by-side layout.
