Mass Page Builder — FAQ Tab
The FAQs tab controls the Frequently Asked Questions section that appears on the generated pages. You can either enter FAQs manually by writing your own questions and answers, or let YACSS generate them automatically using saved FAQ prompts. The FAQs entered here are shown as an accordion-style block on the main generated pages with the section title "Frequently Asked Questions" unless you have changed the FAQ translation text elsewhere. Each FAQ appears with a clickable question and a collapsible answer beneath it.
FAQ Tab Overview
The FAQ tab is accessed from the left sidebar. At the top you choose between Auto and Manual modes which determine how the FAQ content is created. The tab controls how many FAQs appear per page, which HTML tag wraps each question, and how FAQs are distributed across your generated pages.

Auto / Manual
Two radio buttons control how the FAQ content is created.
Auto — When Auto is selected, YACSS generates the FAQs for each page automatically using the FAQ prompts you choose below. The system creates a random number of question-and-answer pairs within the interval you set. These generated FAQs are then added to the FAQ section of the generated pages.

Manual — When Manual is selected, you provide the FAQs yourself. You can either upload them from a CSV file or add them one by one inside the FAQ editor below. These manually added FAQs are then used on the generated pages.
Auto Mode Controls
Faq Start Interval / Faq End Interval (Auto mode) — These two number fields appear in Auto mode. They control how many FAQs YACSS should generate for each page. The system picks a random number between the start and end values for each page. For example, if Start is 3 and End is 5, one page may receive 3 FAQs while another receives 4 or 5.
Select Faq Prompts (Auto mode) — This is the multi-select prompt picker used in Auto mode. You choose one or more saved FAQ prompts from your account, and YACSS uses those prompt templates to generate the FAQ questions and answers automatically. If you select multiple prompts, the system can use any of them during generation.
Manual Mode Controls
Select CSV File — All FAQs will be overwritten — This CSV uploader is used in Manual mode. Uploading a CSV file replaces the current FAQ list with the FAQs from that file. A Download Sample Template link shows the format required for import. Use this when you already have a prepared list of FAQs and want to load them into the project in one step instead of adding them manually one by one.
Randomize on Pages — This checkbox is used in Manual mode. When enabled, the uploaded or manually entered FAQs are distributed across the generated pages instead of showing the exact same full FAQ list on every page. This is useful when you want variety across a large mass page build. When it is not enabled, the same FAQ set is used everywhere.
Faq Start Interval / Faq End Interval (Randomize on Pages) — These two number fields appear when Randomize on Pages is enabled. They control how many FAQs are placed on each page. The system chooses a random count between the start and end values and assigns that many FAQs to a page, which helps avoid every page having the exact same FAQ count.
Question Enclosed Tag — This dropdown controls which HTML tag is used for each FAQ question heading in the front-end FAQ accordion. The available options are H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, and p. The default is H6. This changes the markup level of the question text, not the answer text. Use a lower heading such as H5 or H6 if you want the FAQ questions to behave like smaller headings within the page structure.

FAQ Entries — Fields & Add More
Each FAQ block in Manual mode contains a full FAQ entry. You can add as many as needed using the plus button at the bottom. Each entry becomes one question-and-answer item in the front-end FAQ section.
Question — The question text for the FAQ item. It becomes the visible clickable question shown in the FAQ accordion on the generated page.
Answer — The answer text for the FAQ item. It uses a rich text editor, so you can format the answer with paragraphs, links, lists, and other basic content formatting. The answer appears inside the collapsible content panel beneath its question on the generated page.
Keywords — Stores keywords related to that FAQ item. It is part of the FAQ record and can be useful for organisation or generation workflows, but is not shown as visible text in the front-end FAQ accordion.
Headline — Stores a headline value for the FAQ record. It is available in the FAQ data and saved with the entry, but is not displayed as a separate visible line in the main FAQ accordion on the generated pages.
Name — Stores a name value for the FAQ record. In auto-generated FAQs, YACSS fills this with the page meta title as part of the saved FAQ data. It is not shown as visible text in the front-end accordion section.
Add More FAQ (+ button) — The plus button at the bottom adds another FAQ entry block in Manual mode. Use this when you want to build the FAQ list by hand inside the editor rather than importing from CSV. Each new block gives you fields for Question, Answer, Keywords, Headline, and Name.
Appears in: The FAQ section appears in the main body of the generated pages as a dedicated accordion block with the section heading "Frequently Asked Questions" unless changed by translation settings. Each question is shown as a clickable heading, and each answer opens below it. The questions use the tag selected in Question Enclosed Tag.
