Mass Page Builder — Special Content Tab

The Special Content tab is where you configure highlighted content blocks that appear on your generated pages separately from the main body content. Special Content blocks are styled with their own background and text colours (set in the Choose Template tab) and can include an icon, a keyword heading, and a rich text body. They are designed to stand out visually from the regular content — useful for callout boxes, service highlights, feature lists, or key selling points. The tab behaves differently depending on whether Dynamic Content mode is selected in Page Content Settings or not.

Special Content Tab Overview

The Special Content tab is accessed from the left sidebar. At the top you choose between Auto and Manual modes. The tab shows controls for Limit Interval Start and End, Placement, page placement checkboxes, and the Add New Content button. The entries you build here form the pool of highlighted blocks that appear on your generated pages.

Auto / Manual (Both Modes)

Two radio buttons at the top of the tab that appear in both the Dynamic and Static versions of the Special Content tab.

Auto — When selected YACSS generates the special content automatically using AI. A Select Prompts dropdown appears where you can optionally choose one or more of your saved AI prompts to guide how the content is written. Limit Interval Start and Limit Interval End fields also appear to control how many special content entries are shown per page, and a Placement setting controls where on the page the block is positioned relative to the main content.

Manual — The default. You write the special content yourself in the column editor fields below. The number of columns you configure determines how many content entries appear on each page.

Auto Mode — Additional Controls (Static Content Mode)

When Auto is selected in the standard (non-Dynamic) layout the following controls appear.

Select Prompts (optional) — A multi-select dropdown where you choose from your saved AI prompts to guide the tone and style of the AI-generated special content.

Note: You first need to add prompts in the Prompts / Special Content Prompts section of the sidebar.

Limit Interval Start / Limit Interval End — Two number fields that control how many special content entries are generated and shown per page. The system picks a random count between the start and end values. Defaults are 3 for start and 5 for end.

Placement (Only applicable for One Content Area) — Three radio buttons that control where the special content block appears on the page relative to the main content area. Above Content places the block before the main content. Below Content (the default) places it after. Random alternates placement across pages.

Dynamic Content Mode — Additional Controls

When Dynamic Content mode is active the Special Content tab shows a slightly different version of the Auto controls with the same fields — Select Prompts, Limit Interval Start, Limit Interval End, and Placement — plus two extra page placement checkboxes that appear in Manual mode.

To activate Dynamic Content mode, go to Build Settings and change the Page Content Settings to Dynamic Content.

Place on Homepage — Ticked by default. Places the special content block on the homepage.

Subpage Placement — When ticked the special content also appears on subpages. Two additional radio buttons appear: Place on All Subpages (puts the block on every subpage) and Random Placement on Subpages (places it on a random selection of subpages only).

Add New Content button — In Dynamic mode a button appears to open the Special Content modal where you add individual special content entries to a library, just like the Wikipedia and Dynamic Content tabs. The entries you add are shown in the list area below the button.

No of Columns (Manual Mode)

Five radio buttons that control how many special content columns appear per page. This is the primary layout control for the Manual mode.

None — The default. No special content blocks are rendered on pages.

1 — One special content column is displayed. A single set of fields appears below for Column 1.

2 — Two columns are displayed side by side. Column 1 and Column 2 field sets appear.

3 — Three columns are displayed. Column 1, 2, and 3 field sets appear.

4 — Four columns are displayed. All four column field sets appear.

When 1 or more columns are selected a FullScreen Width checkbox appears. When ticked the special content section stretches to the full width of the page rather than being contained within the standard content column width.

Placement (Manual Mode)

Three radio buttons controlling where the special content block is placed on the page relative to the main content.

Above Content — The special content block renders above the main content sections.

Below Content — The default. The block renders below the main content sections.

Random — The placement alternates randomly across different pages.

Column Fields (1 through 4)

Each column that is activated by the No of Columns setting shows the same set of fields. The fields for each column are described below using Column 1 as the example — Columns 2, 3, and 4 are identical in structure.

Special Keyword — A text input for the heading or title of this special content block. This text appears as the visible label or heading at the top of the column on the page. For example "Free Consultation" or "24/7 Support".

Special Icon — A searchable dropdown containing the full Font Awesome 4 icon library. The selected icon is displayed alongside the keyword heading in the special content block on the page. This lets you add a visual symbol that reinforces the meaning of the block — for example a phone icon for a contact column, a star for a featured service, or a check mark for a guarantee. If no icon is needed simply leave the default empty selection.

Enable Spintax / Disable Spintax — Two radio buttons that control whether spintax notation is processed in the special content text for this column. Enable Spintax is the default, allowing word variation across pages. Select Disable Spintax if you want the text to appear exactly as written on every page.

Special Content — A full rich text editor where you write the body text for this column's content block. The editor supports the complete CKEditor toolbar including bold, italic, lists, links, images, tables, and HTML source editing. The content you write here appears in the body of the special content block on the page beneath the icon and keyword heading.

Appears in: Each column's special content block renders on every generated page as a styled highlighted section with the icon, keyword heading, and body text displayed together. The background colour and text colour of the block are controlled by the Special Content 1–4 Bg Color and Text Color settings in the Choose Template tab, with each column number corresponding to its matching colour setting.
